I wrote the verses & chorus in May 2018 after one morning... high on love-drugs after meeting someone speshul at a festival... I cracked an egg into the compost bin and proceeded to put the shells in the frying pan. Yes yes, I was in total La La Land.

Just a few weeks later the castles I'd built in my imagination crumbled and turned into compost themselves. And from that compost grew the bittersweet bridge to complete the song's story.

So here's a bittersweet love song dedicated to everyone out there who falls in love too easily or lets their imaginations get the better of them from time to time.

The first release with my Sarabande sisters Shiloh Parkerson & Hannah Levy's gorgeous voices intermingling with mine - YAY!

Factoid. I wrote the opening melody as part of my "Melody-a-Day Mission" for the month of May 2017. This one was inspired by "Dream" by Everly Brothers.

I've been bumpin into things
like they talk about in old love songs.
Every since you tuned my heart strings as high as they can go,
I have been

Feel like I've been drinkin alcohol.
And I know it makes no sense at all.
What is this powerful chemical, coursing through my veins,
makin me

I want you
to hold me tight
all through
the end of time
I know I've drunk
a little too much of you

I know I've fallen much too far too soon, again.
I've built another castle on the Moon.
And the arches are crumbling, and red flags line the halls.
But I ignore that all, cuz
oo this drug is strong.
And when I am on it I can pretend nothing's wrong so
until this spell is spent
and our castle turns to ruins
I'll be here
on the Moon,

dreamin up a whole damn life.
I'm even dreamin I could be your wife.
Dreamin is all I can do, without you...
dreamin til I'm

I want you
to hold me tight
all through
the end of time
I know I've drunk
a little too much of you
